Summer. Is. Finally. Here!! We’ve seen our members working their tails off in an effort to perfect their beach bodies, but, summer after summer, we see these same members neglect their workout routines during the summer months. We know that vacations and beach season often get in the way of gym-time, but it’s never easy for us to see our members lose some of the results they worked so tirelessly to achieve.
To help you maintain your beach body over the summer, here are a few tips to keep in mind:
Put On Your Dancing Shoes:
Make working out fun! Our dancing and Zumba group exercise classes are a great way to get in a quick workout while having a blast. Dancing is phenomenal exercise, burning calories while helping you perfect your moves. Added plus: next time you go out, you’ll be 100% ready to cut a rug!
Take Advantage of our HIIT Classes:
HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, is a terrific time saver, helping you get in an intense workout in a short time. These classes and workouts will get your heart pounding and you on your way to the beach in no time!
Complement Cardio With Resistance Training:
Everyone knows cardio is a tremendous calorie-burning workout, but not everyone complements his or her cardio routines with resistance training. Finding a balance between the two will help you burn fat more efficiently than ever. Keep the weight on the lighter side, and supplement your rest intervals with cardio exercises like cycling, jumping rope, or jogging. Get your whole body going, and keep your well-earned fitness results throughout the entire summer.
